anyway, so I give up - there's only so long you can keep extending a contest (which we've had to do several times for multiple contests). I know we're a small group, but it IS disheartening to try and run contests that aren't getting participants. I think we'll be putting a hold on that for a while.

Remember that the point of this group is to showcase mediums that are unusual or not accepted. this is the PERFECT place to also EXPERIMENT in those same mediums, even if you've never done so before. If you are still unwilling to participate, please consider becoming a judge (then i don't have to judge, and *I* can participate ! I find the contests as a perfect way to expand my abilities - even though i did NOT participate in either the crayon, ballpoint, or liquids contests, i still did amazing pics in those areas to sort of join in and show what could be done. i'd have loved to have entered them, but i was the judge and could not.) or even help supporting the contest by advertising or donating prizes!
